Born and raised on the ‘Big Island’ of Hawaii where he currently lives, Mark watched the town of Hilo grow from a sleepy, sugar cane seaport to a charming, vibrant community reminiscent of ‘old Hawaii’. As a second-generation Big Island real estate professional, Mark possesses an extensive real estate and construction background, with a historical perspective and first-hand knowledge of the many unique areas and communities around the island. He pursued an education in business administration at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and gleaned many aspects of entrepreneurship while working in the family business.
Since becoming a Realtor Associate in 2015, Mark has enjoyed success in his ability to negotiate and handle a wide range of real estate transactions and develop strategies to achieve clients’ goals from first-time home buyers to savvy investors. Mark works to understand and meet the needs of clients and “thinks outside the box”, whether it’s finding that magical piece of paradise to call home, or buying and selling a primary residence, vacation home or investment property.
Mark’s multifaceted experience, strong dedication to his work and problem solving skills make him a valuable team player. He uses a hands-on approach in assisting clients throughout the process of buying and selling their properties, with timely communication and a high level of service.
Mark started his real estate career at a prominent brokerage, and in 2018, joined Corcoran Pacific Properties, now rebranded as Corcoran Pacific Properties. Mark is a member of the Skeele Group, working as a father and son team with David Skeele, a highly accomplished Realtor Broker and former owner of Skeele Construction.
