Real Estate Agent

Born and raised in upstate New York, Beth Makanani earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Miami University before moving to Hawaii in 1984.

Prior to real estate, Beth was employed by Bank of Hawaii as an Assistant Vice President in the construction loan department. While corporate lending was exciting and challenging, Beth found that each project took years to complete. As a real estate agent since 1991, Beth is able to help her clients through the buying and selling process from start to finish.

Beth uses her complex problem-solving skills to assist her clients in reaching their real estate dreams and build wealth for their future. Beth has garnered annual Aloha Aina nominations, annual sales awards, and annual awards for excellence in Client Service. She serves the entire island of Oahu but specializes in Mililani and its surrounding neighborhoods.

In 2020, Beth chose Corcoran Pacific Properties over other firms because she believed Corcoran was the best “hybrid,” bridging an older style, large brick and mortar company, with a more progressive online, do-it-yourself philosophy. Beth found Corcoran’s management to be incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating. She also appreciated the firm’s top-notch marketing materials.

Beth loves outdoor activities, especially hiking and water sports. Traveling is her passion and she hopes to get back to it soon. She has two grown children and contributes her time to local charities including the Special Olympics, Big Brothers and Big Sisters events, HUGS, and local school rehab projects.
